GPS had a chance to sweep the girls DII Tennis Titles Friday morning. In singles, Claire Bartlett took on East Region foe Guinn Garcia of Webb School (Knoxville). Doubles team Grace Robinette and Courtney Pare faced Brandi Cordell and Katie Thornton of Baylor in another all East Region final.
After a grueling semifinal match yesterday, Claire Bartlett bounced back to win the State Singles Tennis Championship in convincing fashion, 6-0,6-0. It is Claire's second individual championship in a row. Only a Junior, she will have a chance to make it three in a row next year.

Grace Robinette and Courtney Pare gave a strong effort in the Doubles Championship match, but came up short falling 6-4, 6-2 to the team from Baylor.
